for bulk polymers delivered by a reactor, mixer, extruder, melt pump or
similar large production unit. This Screen Changer uses the cartridge
filter (cylindrical filter) system, in order to obtain a very large
filtration area ( Approximately 5 times larger than a conventional flat plate type).
Designed to change
breaker plate without slowing down or stopping the line, complete with
breaker plate removal and reinstating device. Body and slide plate can
be steam, oil or electrically heated. These screen changers are often
used with a melt diverter valve (start-up valve) and operated by a
common hydraulic power pack. Unit available for outputs of up to 60
tons/hour.
