The oval breaker plate
allows twice the filtration area of a conventional circular breaker
plate, maintaining a compact overall size screen changer. The Oval
Breaker Plate Screen Changer is available in one or two slide-plate
versions.
The two-slide-plate
version allows the melt to flow continuously during a screen change.
This model does not
have pre-fill facilities. (For a continuous flow screen changer, which
does not allow air entrapment and has pre-fill facilities, refer to the
model ‘Contiflow’). |
