The slide
plate is moved hydraulically, by moving a lever on the hydraulic power unit
(support trolley available on request).
When changing
screen, the extruder must be stopped for a short time (between 40 and 120
seconds, depending on the size).
Heavy-duty
construction, fitted with all-metal adjustable seals. Can be electrically,
steam or oil heated.
Available
with fully automatic sealing system for working temperatures up to 280˚ C
and with all-metal adjustable seals for working temperatures up to 350˚ C.
Suitable also
for rubber.
